INVITATION : Colloquium on African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights 2015

The Law Society of South Africa in association with the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights cordially invite you to attend a colloquium on the powers and functions of the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights.
Background

The Law Society of South Africa recognises the need to raise public awareness about the existence, functions, and accessibility of the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights. It further recognises the importance of depositing the Article 34(6) declaration, especially since South Africa is yet to make such a declaration and its citizen therefore cannot approach the Court at this stage.
