The SADC Lawyers’ Association In Collaboration with the Law Association of Zambia

The SADC Lawyers’ Association In Collaboration with the Law Association of Zambia will be holding a training in Construction Law.

Why Construction Law?
Construction Law has become an increasingly important area of practice in Southern Africa for people from different disciplines. Yet very few universities in the region offer the course at undergraduate level, and even then the course is offered in disciplines other than law. The few professionals that have become experts in this field have learnt the skills on the job and through short courses such as this one. The boom in construction projects in Southern Africa, from buildings, to hydro-power projects, to road networks however require increased knowledge and expertise in this area of law for construction and legal professionals to be able to advise their clients. This course will provide you with the requisite technical and legal skills required in the construction chain, from contract negotiation, project implementation, dispute resolution, through to project closeout. Register for the course now, and be ahead of the pack.
