Serves as Company Secretary and Head of Legal and Regulatory at Airtel Networks Zambia Plc (“Airtel”), a listed Company on the Lusaka Securities Exchange, a position she has held for 9 years. She has over 13 years’ corporate and commercial experience, which includes over 10 years’ experience in the Telecommunications industry. In her current role, her duties include providing legal guidance to the organization in the formulation and implementation of policies, procedures and practices, drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial agreements.  

Having worked out of the Airtel Africa Group Headquarters based in Nairobi, Kenya, she oversaw the Group’s legal operations in Kenya, Malawi, Madagascar and Rwanda by ensuring that the operating countries had good corporate governance principles with solid legal management policies and processes in place. Often, she is called upon by the various regulators in the Telecommunications industry to review reforms to Laws and regulations. 

She has over 13 years’ experience in practice specializing in Litigation, alternative dispute resolution, employment Law, competition Law, corporate Law and general corporate advisory having previously worked at Shamwana and Company Advocates and Corpus Legal Practitioners.
